    STAN KENTON ORCHESTRA

    This is the only known recording (70 stereo minutes) of Stan Kenton’s second-to-last (1977) orchestra, which was excellently recorded during a nightclub concert. The Ken Hanna-arranged “This Is All I Ask” is available only on this disc. Gene Roland’s “Misty”, rarely heard without the mellophoniums is also displayed.
