Outstanding solo work by Buddy, Andy Martin, and others. Wonderful arrangements of some great standards by Buddy Childers. A couple of great vocals by Tierney Sutton, chair of the jazz vocal department at the University of Southern California. Buddy says, “To call her a ‘singer’ or a ‘vocalist’ just doesn’t do her justice. She is much, much more. She’s a great musician!” This is one COOKIN’ big band and CD!
