    This is the only compilation package that showcases the entire spectrum of the Kenton orchestra. From Stan’s 1940 rehearsal band through the 1978 final tour. Sixty-eight pieces of music, the vast majority of which have never been issued on records.

    Hear for the first time unreleased charts from most of Kenton’s influential arrangers, numerous original compositions, completely different sketches of long familiar titles and three very rare June Christy vocals. All material has been transferred to CD from tape copies of broadcasts, telecasts, live public/clinic performances, rehearsals and a few studio sessions.
